Hi ladies. Recently, lo's have started a more consistent nap schedule consisting of a long nap in the morning and afternoon. Where I'm certainly not complaining about the quality of sleep, and time it frees up for me to get some things done in the house, I am however feeling like a slave to the naps. They wake up, they have a bottle, eat, play, get dressed and its practically time for a morning nap. Once they wake up its just about time for lunch bottle and by the time I can even consider stepping out the door to get errands done, it's 1pm. (I should probably add that theyre STILL not holding their own bottles so i cant give them lunch on the go). By that time we have an hour to hour and a half and they're ready for nap #2 and if I don't have them home for it they are cranky-pants and the rest of the day is ruined. They will fall asleep in the car but they usually won't nap well after the transition to the crib, and I'm in for a long afternoon with 2 miserable babies. has anyone else experienced this and is it a long lasting stage, or am ijustdoing something wrong?! TIA.

I can't offer any advice on the napping schedule, but someone in my MoMs group mentioned the Podee bottles as a solution to feeding on the go, without the requirement for the baby to hold the bottle. Not sure if others have heard of this or what

I felt that way for a while but it is getting easier now....I think they just need time....now if we have to miss a nap they don't have a meltdown but they still aren't ready for one nap (I tried for a few days and they would just fall asleep anyways w
