Hi all! I'm just wondering how you label your bottles for daycare. When we went for our test run yesterday it looks like some people wrote on masking tape with a marker, some wrote on a clear label with a marker, and some printed out white labels. If you use a label does it peel off easily without an annoying residue? Also if you have any tips that you wish you knew when you first started taking your LO to daycare please feel free to share. I can use all the help I can get. Thanks.
Re: Labeling bottles for daycare
We aren't using bottles anymore, but we do have to label DD's lunch and water cup each day (including the date).
Here's what we do:
We bought labels with her name on them from namebubbles.com, and put those on her water cup and tupperw

My sister introduced me to these cute bands that you put around bottles, sippy cups, etc. Also, when they get older, you can use them on water bottles for sports and such.
I love them!

amazing. We used them for DD1 and they are still on the bottles so we just crossed out her first name and put DD2s name on them....sad state of affairs for the second born!
Every day we needed to label DS's bottle with his name, the date, and the contents. I bought these printer labels:

The first couple weeks as I brought in non labeled bottles, the teachers would used masking tape and label his bottles, nipples and caps. The tape hasn't come off at all (hand washed or dishwasher) since the first time they've done it.
I have some with the printed label for her name.
I really like using the blue painter's tape. It doesn't leave a residue, and you can pull them off and re-use them. I have ones that say things like dinner, snack, etc. I can just slap
I've done both inchbug and mabel's labels.
My advice would be to prep everything the night before so you're not racing around in the morning.
We used clothing labels from namebubbles. When it came to bottles, we put the clothing labels on her bottles because they were something that would stay for months but we also had to label with contents and date. So for that we just used bl
