Seasonal Allergies for Kids?

DD has had a runny nose for 2 weeks now. It has always been clear. The drainage is making her cough alot. I have been giving her claritin to dry it up and it seems to help a bit. I can't really tell the difference between the sniffles or allergies? If we went to the pedi, is there anything they could really do for us anyway? Any other allergy meds for kids that you reccomend. DD just turned 2 as an FYI.

  • DS has allergies and he takes Allegra, Veramyst, and Aztelin. The pedi can definitely work with you to find something that works. DS also has reactive airway disease so I think his allergies are treated more aggressively than others.
