waking at night after weaning?

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else went through this and had any advice.
LO started sleeping through the night at about 9 months old. When she turned one I started weaning her from nursing during the day, dropping one feeding a week until we were down to just nursing before bed. We kept doing just before bed for about 2 weeks and I decided to finally stop that session as well. I instead gave her a sippy cup of cows milk. She has been going to sleep fairly well, about the same as if I had nursed her, but she has started waking up in the night multiple times. She sometimes will just cry a few minutes and go back to sleep, but last night she wouldn't go back to sleep for anything. It has only been a few days since I stopped nursing and last night I gave her as much milk as she wanted before bed.

Has this happened for anyone else? Any ideas to help her stay asleep?

No schedule changes, still on two naps. The only change is not nursing. I'm hoping its just an adjustment period, maybe.
