All is well here in Colorado!

We had a beautiful and sunny 70 degree day on Monday and a 40 degree drop with blizzard like conditions yesterday. Today was somewhere in between. My appointments are going smoothly (thankgoodness!) and I can't say enough good things about the processes and staff at this clinic. Impeccable all the way around!

DH and I braved the storm yesterday and checked out the historic Broadmoor Hotel and Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and we took a ride to Vail today. We had lunch in the village with a beautiful snowy view. It felt like we were in a wonderous snow globe! And, we saw three bighorn sheep! That is something we don't see in California! ;)

We anticipate a retrieval possibly Sunday. The endo pain is nothing like it was when I had the lovely combo early last week of AF and estrogen priming, but I still have some common aches and pains associated with the endo. Especially on my left side where the larger endometriomas are at. I will be glad to see the retrieval through where they will (hopefully) be able to drain the endometriomas, which will be a foot in the right direction toward suppressing the endo before a transfer later this summer. Assuming we have a genetically beautiful embryo to transfer! Fx!

    Oh I'm jealous of your beautiful snow scene. It sounds magical!

    I hope everything goes perfectly with your ER and you have some perfect embies to work with for transfer. Thinking of you!

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
    3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
    3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
    4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!

    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!

    Wow! It must be gorgeous there! I hope the surroundings can make up a little for the endo pain. That sounds rough.
