My DH and I easily conceived baby #1, who was born in March 2011. We have been "unprotected" since her birth, and have been seriously trying for the last 10 cycles...with zero results (obviously, or I wouldn't be posting here). I finally got the courage to meet with an RE last week, and he really eased my fears. I am hoping to see some success soon--I am starting Clomid with u/s monitoring *tomorrow* (eeek!), and then I'll do an hcg trigger shot after an u/s somewhere around CDs 9-13, depending on how things look.

 So, that's my story and just thought I'd introduce myself. I haven't been on TB since my BMB moved to facebook shortly after our March '11 babies were born. Thanks for any encouragement or info anyone has!

    Welcome! I hope your stay here is short and sweet. My DD was born on March 18, 2011. She came about 4 1/2 weeks early though so I wasn't a part of the March BMB. Good Luck!

    This Time: 4/12 Femera IUI #1 BFN, 5/12 Femera + TI BFN, 6/12 Femera + IUI #2 BFN, 7/12 Femera + IUI #3 BFN, 8/12 Follistim IUI #4 BFN

    Thank you! I am so nervous...this is a path I never dreamed I'd have to travel down, yet here I am! DH goes for his SA next week. If his numbers are not good, my RE suggested the possibility of the Clomid/Ovidrel trigger + IUI instead of TI. So much to me

    Welcome to the board.  Good luck with your first medicated cycle!

    Me: 42. DH: 46.

    1st Pregnancy: MC, 11/19/00.

    2nd Pregnancy: DS born 04/10/06.

    3rd Pregnancy: CP, 03/11.

    4th Pregnancy: MMC, D&C 11/30/11, Genetic testing revealed Trisomy 4.

    5th Pregnancy: Ectopic, 2 doses of Methotrexate unsuccessful, surgery 4/10/12, right tube removed.

    Tried Letrozole January 2013-July 2013 (including 2 IUIs), all BFN.  After 2 1/2 years of trying for child #2, decided to "give up" after July cycle, based on AMA.

    August 16, 2013:  BFP our first month of "not trying!"  Still in shock.  Beta #1 (14dpo): 183.  Beta #2 (17dpo):  611.  Ultrasound 8/30/13: baby measured 6 weeks, 1 day, heart rate of 118 bpm! 
    Ultrasound 9/13/13:  8 weeks, heart rate of 176!
    Baby is due 4/26/14
