LO is 6 weeks. He's always been fine to nap in his PNP or the Newborn napper on the coffee table or next to me on the couch. Often he'd fall asleep in my arms and i'd move him into one or the other where he'd continue his nap no problem. But over the past few days, every time I put him down after he falls asleep in my arms, he wakes up crying and can only be consoled by being held...where he promptly falls back to sleep. I adore holding him, but it's making things like eating, going to the bathroom and showering difficult. Is this just a phase? Any suggestions? H still seems averse to the swing and the bouncer...

Thanks, ladies!
Knock on wood...I let him fall asleep in my arms again then swaddled him while he was asleep...this seems to be working, as he's been down for longer than any period over the past few days. We usually just swaddle for

My Mom always tells me give them every snuggle they want now, so I am glad to oblige. Dishes can wait.
We are having this issue right now, too, though only in the evenings... All day long, B is fine. But starting around dinner time, he just wants to be held constantly- and only by me! No DH, no swing, no bouncer, just me. Which is frustrating for both D
