I am a member of my local roller derby team. I have been skating with them for over a year. Though I am currently on a "maternity leave."

I played for two years but retired two years ago! I loved it and miss it so much! What team do you skate for?

Awesome! I started with Greensboro Roller Derby then went to Camel City Thrashers, both in NC. Derby is so awesome! Are you getting to help in any way while on maternity leave?

Yes! I play for The Imposters Rollergirls for the past 2 and a half years and since the pregnancy now NSO and do more promotional work for the team. Can't wait to return in the new year. To get my exercise fix I'm now doing swimming and yoga.

I play for Queen City Roller Girls. I'm the Captain of my home team the Devil Dollies and am on our travel team the Lake Effect Furies. I just found out I'm pregnant and nervous cause I've probably have been in 3 bouts and numerous scrimmages. My first appointment isn't till this Wednesday! 

 

I've known a couple girls who didn't know and bouted and everything turned out fine... I guess I'm gust nervous I'm going to have an omelet for kid!!!

I'm also really nervous to tell my teams and curious how you all handled it??
