Reasons Your Toddler is Crying

This is being shared all over the place. I know we all frustrated with the meltdowns, but sometimes I just have to laugh to keep myself from crying. Anyone care to share why their toddler cried today?

I wouldn't let her clean the bathtub with her toothbrush.

I wouldn't let her shove a whole animal cookie in her mouth.

I made her wear shoes to play outside.

ETA: I wouldn't let her wash her hands for the eleventy-billionth time.

I would not let her close DH and I in the bathroom so she could have the run of the house

I did not let her stand under my horse while he was getting shoes

Her baby doll would not fit in her potty.

I wouldn't let him push the hamper down the stairs.

 

i didn't give him ranch with his fruit snacks.

I put him down at daycare without sufficient warning.

I took my lotion bottle away from him.

I took my phone away from him.

We left the park before he was ready.

I didn't let him eat mulch.

Yesterday:

I wouldn't let him bang his head against the door.

He pinched his finger with the door with the slit the opens when you oprn the door AFTER I told him to get out of there and not to put his finger there.

I wouldn't let her play in the dishwasher full of dirty dishes

I wouldn't put raisins in the gross, dirty raisin container she managed to filch from said dishwasher when my back was turned

That was funny, because L is not always like this, but she sure has been today!  Today she has cried because:

I didn't get her pancakes cut fast enough
Tried brushing her teeth
Wouldn't let her eat my hair clip
Said no when she wanted to eat cookies for breakfast

I wouldn't let him climb up the slide at the park and tried to show him the steps.

I put her food in the microwave to heat it up

I laid down on the couch and put a blanket over me (apparently laying on the couch was acceptable, but the blanket pushed her over the edge).

Her TV show was over.
