My family is leaving next week, and they have been super helpful. I am worried about being on my own all day with my 23 month old and two week old. They always seem to need me at the same time! Especially in the morning when they both wake up at the same time. How do you manage to coordinate things??

I was so freaked out the first few days I had to be alone with two of them mine are 16 months apart, but it becomes 'normal' so quickly... That's not to say that it isn't difficult, but it was never the Hell I'd imagine a it would be! Lol

Things that helped initially-

Keeping snacks and a sippy cup by the chair I fed the baby in.

Keeping changing supplies in the rooms we spent our time in

prepping breakfast and lunch for ds before dh left for work in the morning

If they wake up at the same time, I get LO1 in her high chair with breakfast. While she's eating, I BF the baby siting at the kitchen table.

I baby wear as much as possible. I can bathe LO1 while wearing LO2, make food, eat, take the dog out

Oh, and baby wearing has been a lifesaver during LO2s fussy time and LO1s bath time and bedtime which always coincide!

Thanks OP for posting and thanks PPs for answering. 

Duh! Why didn't I think of prepping snacks/meals the night before?

And I will be training #2 in the carriers from day one after reading this.
