best convertable carseats?

Carseats!!  I know the topic gets old ladies, I just seem to have a really bad memory.  lol

 twins are now 1 and 25 lbs each.  THey won't fit into their infant carriers much longer.  Whats next, best, etc.

  • Check out the Lucie's List post on convertible car seats, I found it really helpful.  Also, the FB group Carseats for the Littles helped me decide between the seats when I had narrowed it down to a few.  There are carseat techs on there too,

  • I second Carseats for the Littles.  I gave them dd's stats and they gave me a list of 5 to consider.  From there I narrowed down based on features I liked and other reviews.  There are also some techs on the N&BG board who can help.<

  • We have the Evenflo Symphony and the Britax Marathon.  I love the Britax.  If I could do it again, I'd have two of them!

  • We have a Maxi Cosi Pria 70, It's fantastic! Very soft and cooshy for LO, plus the straps buckle easily and don't get tangled up. I also like that it has an air filled head rest thing that releases air to cushion better in an accident.
