tell me the rules of alcohol and breastfeeding?

DD and i have had a rough day... i need a drink.

she is FF but takes the breast for comfort (not EBF because of supply, im basicalyy FFing with BF supplement)

so do i have to pump to getr it out of the milk, or will it be gone by a certain number of hours?

if you're ok to drive, youre ok to nurse--especially if its been an hour or two since drinking

Generally, the amount of alcohol in your breastmilk is equivalent to your blood alcohol content.  I generally will not nurse for 2 hours after I have a drink, but there's no need to pump and dump.
