Short Naps

So my DD is 3 months and for a week we were taking nice long naps, I thought we were making huge progress and getting away from the short naps. well the cat napper is back 30-45min naps.

So when baby wakes up crying from a short nap what do you mom's and dad's do? do you get them up or do you try and get them to go back to sleep?

I do both depending on his mood. If he still seems sleepy and is crying with eyes closed. I'll try to calm him down and restart the nap routine. Sometimes it works but not usually.

If I just see him in his crib hanging out I'll leave him in there

Its a daily battle here too. Usually I replace the paci and try to get her back to sleep. She's usually fussy but still won't sleep so we fight it until its time to eat again. I'm not sure what else to do.

It gets better once they consolidat

Are you following the babies wake times? At that age I think they are only up for 1.5 hours at a time. I tried everything to help my DS nap longer and eventually he's just started to get it on his own when he's ready. If he woke crying I would pick him up

Just want to tell you that my DS had major nap regression when he was 3m1w old.  It was pure H*ll for several weeks - his naps were as short as 20 minutes each and we were miserable all day long.
