There was a little boy at my old daycare named Cooper. His teacher called him "mini coop". I like the name...I guess I have never met an adult cooper, though...so I don't know if it ages well.
Obviously in the minority here but I love Cooper. It possibly helps that we have a Cooper at daycare and he is so precious and sweet. I think Carter and Conner are way too overused, especially where I live. Cooper is a nice alternative to those names, IMO
In general I'm not a fan of occupational names. However one of my godson's is named Cooper. It means barrel maker and was a nod to his grandfather who was the brew master at a local brewery. So while it is nms, I thought the sentiment was sweet.
I agree! And it isn't as common as other suggestions gals are giving. We were going to choose Benjamin Cooper if our last was a boy. Never met a cooper dog, have a good friend with a 15 mos old Cooper. Love the NN "Coop". Cho
