I have done a lot of research and we're planning on using BG 4.0s (probably after using disposables the first month or so). We were planning on just getting those, but someone on my BMB said not to get all one kind (and I've also seen that a lot of people have multiple kinds in their stash).
What is your recommendation? I understanding having variety to see what works, but I don't want to buy 5 each of three different brands, and then only use the 5 of the brand I like (if that makes sense). They're a little expensive to just try out willy nilly. WWYD?

The recommendation to have a variety stems that it would be better to sale 10 you didn't like, than have 15 to 20 of one ki
I only have one BG 4.0 right now and just ordered another one new. I am keeping an eye out for used ones in good condition too.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013. We love her to pieces.
We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011. She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.
Just keep in mind that most OS diapers may not work at the newborn stage. I did the Newborn Diaper Trial with Jillian's Drawers and they included a 4.0 in it. It was HUGE on DS, but I decided to keep it to see if I might like it further down the road.
Then for my newborn stash I have 20 Kawaii PN and 12 Alva newborns

Thank you everyone for the info. Last night I really wasn't on board with having a variety to try, especially since I find all the choices a little overwhelming and the decisions stressful! I also wanted to be able to put some of whatever type we wante
One of the things that I've learned over the last 2 years CDing my DD is that diversity in your stash is a good thing. What works amazing for you the first six months might not work so well all of the time once your LO is a year, or 18 months, or 2 yea
