Yay or nay question

For those of you that have a 3 y/o, would you/do you give them chewing gum?

Re: Yay or nay question

  • I don't remember when my kids first tried gum. We're not big gum chewers. I wouldn't get it specifically for a 3 year old to walk around chewing everyday, but I'd let him try it from an easter basket or party favor. And I think there is a big differenc

  • DD1 yay (at 3) DD2 nay (she spits it out on the floor when she doesn't swallow it)

  • No - I personal can't stand gum period for anyone.  My kids (5 and 6) have tried gum a few times and don't really care for it.  The whole process of how people chew and the noise is such a pet peeve of mine - this lady at my kids swim class look
