please don't throw things...

But is it possible for LO to sleep TOO much?

Rowan is feeding really well (she's a big girl, 10lbs 6oz at birth) and seems to really like to sleep.  When she's up, she's alert, but my guess is that she sleeps around 18 hours a day.  The doctors say she's perfect, but I am a FTM and of course I'm nervous!

New babies sleep a lot anywhere from 1820 hours a day so she's completely normal! DS is usually up long enough to eat and be changed then he's out again. He's just starting to stay awake for 34 hours in the morning and he will be 6 weeks on Friday.

  • DD is the same.  She's 2 weeks old today and sleeps a lot.  Last night I woke her at 3:45am (she hadn't been awake since 9:30pm) because my boobs were ready to explode.  I fed her but she was super sleepy, then she went back down and I had
