Had an OB appt today and again my blood pressure was borderline, 139/85.
I have been occasionally checking at home and it's always been 120/80 or lower, and at my NST it's been really low, but they take it after I've been laying down, she doesn't seem to be buying that those numbers are accurate. I'm doing another round of pre -e labs and based on those results she'll decide whether or not to induce me next week. Her theory is I'm full term, baby is nice and big and she's rather not wait until I do have HBP to react.
Major downside is, as of today's check I'm 100% closed, there's nothing going on down there. UGG... I'm not looking forward to any kind of induction, nevermind a very LONG one. OB said to have sex alot this week, another thing that I absolutely have no desire to do.
I'm having a hard time processing all of this, I really was looking forward to the natural start to labor and going through that whole experience and it looks like that is getting tossed out the window. Holding out hope my labs come back perfect and LO get's to stay in there a tiny bit longer.
Re: Possible induction next week... yikes!

Sorry to hear that your blood pressure is spiking again. I hope your labs turn out ok and you can bake baby for a little longer. Kinda weird that they take your BP after you've been laying down after an NST. At my OB's the BP is one o

Just curious, what is your normal blood pressure (when not pregnant)? If it's normally very low, then even 120 or 130 could be high for you. I had pre-e in my last pregnancy, but they didn't catch it because they were like oh, your BP is in

I have white coat syndrom so my blood pressure (even when not pregnant) is always elevated in the doctors office. I am monitoring daily at home and my numbers are always about 20 points lower for both readings. If your labs come back fine I would
