When did/do you stop getting transvaginal ultrasounds? I'm 11 weeks 5 days and have an appointment tomorrow where I know I will get an ultrasound and I'm getting super tired of these and really just want a normal one.
I think it depends on the ultrasound machine they use, like how good it is. For example for my first trimster screening I had the regular stomach ultrasound because the machines they had are the latest and greatest and even though my baby was so tin
I have never had a trans vaginal u/s.... My earliest one was 9 weeks... and it was all abdominal.. I would say you are far enough along for a regular abdominal u/s
You should be good. The abdominal one should be par for the course from here on out.

BFP #3 02/23/13...SURPRISE!
Depends on the baby's positioning. I have had trans and abdominal. Last Friday at my NT they started abdominal and she didn't want to move so they went to transvaginal and then back to abdominal once she was moving around. it all depends
I had an Ultrasound at 10 weeks and it was abdominal....and same with today at almost 12 weeks...by now they dont need to do a transvaginal one...unless your uterus is tilted or something.
Depends on your uterus and how detailed they want to be with your ultrasound. Apparently mine is flat as a pancake and u can barely see anything on abdominal so I had transvaginal last week at 12 weeks 1 day.
Depends on what type of ultrasound ... at 11 weeks 4 days I had a vaginal to check my cysts but the next day they just used a doppler for my 12 week apt. At my NT scan the following day they started out without vaginal but then he needed to move to vagina
