Hi Ladies! (Intro)

Hi Ladies! I thought I'd intro since I've been lurking on your board. My DS is 15 months and we've just learned that we are expecting our second one in December. DS's birthday is 12/28 and my edd for this lo is 12/14 so we are just squeaking into 2u2. I'll be honest that we were (pleasantly) surprised by this pregnancy and hadn't planned to start ttc until June. It took 6 cycles to get pregnant with DS so I really didn't expect for it to happen quickly (silly me I should have known better lol)

So while we are over the moon excited I am also a bit nervous about 2u2. I haven't been around many 2 year olds so I question how much DS will be able to understand when this lo arrives. I am very concerned about him feeling jealous or neglected when lo arrives so I thought hanging around here would give me a better understanding of what to expect.

Anyways I'm very happy to be here and am looking forward to getting to know you ladies

Congrats!  My kids are 18 months apart and DS will be 19 months younger than DD2.  

We didn't have any jealousy problems.  I talked to DD1 a lot about having a baby.  We read books, she transitioned into her big girl bed 2 mon

Thanks! That is so cute your DD1 was kissing and hugging DD2! My DS absolutely loves other little kids so I'm sure he will love having a sibling. It just still seems so crazy to think there will be another little person here soon lol.
