With the way he moves along in life, he
would like to take a class to learn about what to expect as a parent.
Not your typical prenatal class where you learn about pregnancy and
newborns but more along the lines of financial planning tips, topics to
think about including schooling, how to better prepare and maintain your
relationship with an additional family member... I know there may be
books on this topic and I've had a hard time finding any information
about actual classes. His first language is not English so a class with
the important bits summarized would work much better than a stack of
books. Does a course or workshop like this even exist?

Not that I've heard of. As far as all of the topics you've listed, if there are no books about it, it's more of a common sense and/or a "learn as you go" kind of thing.

I don't know that it exists in one class, but if you met with a financial planner who could council you on long term stuff with college/school, and monetary planning for child/ren.
Outside of that I might say you could find a class that wo
