I need your thoughts/opinions

So I am in a wedding in July and the bride is planning her own shower - myself and the 3 other bridesmaids are not (though we want to) planning or even helping to plan...

We have tried convincing her that (IMO) it is not her place to plan her own shower. It would be one thing if she wanted to know the date/time/location/etc. but she is planning the entire thing - she is barely letting her mom help with the exception of writing out the checks... 

Is there anything we can say or do to convince her to at least let us help?? There isnt a lot that BM can do and myself and the other 3 BM are feeling a little upset.

    Honestly, if she's going to be that involved in her shower, it's best to let her do what she wants instead of you guys doing it and having her say "You got the red velvet cupcakes instead of the funfetti?  Oh.  I see t
