Dd usually goes to bed around 9:30 when I do. However lately she's been wanting to go to bed early but won't fall asleep for good unless I'm laying by her. Any tips to get her to bed around 7:30, without me laying by her? I'm ok laying her in my bed to sleepjust wish she would sleep without me having to be there! For naps, she sleeps fine in her swing or crib. Bedtime is just different.

And she's 19 weeks.

LO usually goes to bed around 7. DH or I lay with her and pat her until she falls asleep and then we carefully get out of bed. I figure that laying with her and patting her is no different than some mamas rocking their babies to sleep as far as time goes.

She'll go to sleep fine, it's that she wakes every 30 min or so and won't go back to sleep unless I lay with her. We've been just doing this until I go to bed for good. Just makes for a long 2hrs until I'm ready to sleep!

LO went through a phase like this, where he couldn't seem to get himself back to sleep and was up every 3-45mins. I would nurse him back to sleep then go finish up whatever I was doing as quickly as possible lol.
