Abbreviations ?

in May 2013 Moms
I'm sorry but I cannot deal with all these abbreviations. Are we expected to know what everyone is talking about because of pregnancy hormones ???

It's every site to do with marriage and children. I have figured some out by the context, but still unless its a huge long story like this why do we need them? Are we just sick of seeing the word baby? Husband ? What? Am i the only one who is confused by half of these? Can someone make me a cheat sheet!??? Lol

    I had to figure them out myself, I don't use them, in fact I think the only abbreviation I use is lol but maybe I am just old school :)

    I am a mobile bumper always unfortunately so the abbreviations save my life. I really am much more intelligent than my posts come off normally, and figure out most the abbreviations myself! But that is what being here for nine months will get you.

    I've just started figuring it out too! I have never really spent time on forums before, just since starting my maternity leave. It's a learning curve, but I use Google when I can't figure something out. Or sometimes I just move on!

    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!
