confused by Kawaii

Hey everybody-I was really excited to receive my final order to complete our NB stash...only to be disappointed that the 3 Kawaii P&N and 1 Green Baby diapers I ordered are HUGE! These are supposed to fit a NB? They were definitely listed on dearestdiapers.com in the NB section but the sizes marked on the diapers are "Medium, 6-22lb."  That, to me, isn't a NB dipe. I know I've also seen others mention these as CD's for a newborn. 

The LGB seems trimmer, but is marked as one-size, 8-36lbs.  

Confused...thanks for any insight

You need to snap down the rise all the way (the snaps on the front). They then have 3 size settings to get bigger as your baby grows. They won't last to potty training, which a true "one size" does for most kids, but they fit at/near birth, which most OS

Did they send you the wrong diapers by mistake?

Our Kawaii's definitely fit DD at 6 lbs.  It looked bulky, but they fit.  Have you snapped down the rise? I expect they will fit until 20 lbs.

They fit my 7 lb 12oz newborn, but that's with the Velcro closed all the way. She's long and thin though. I agree the diapers do seem big even when snapped down to the lowest rise, but they work.

Awesome. Thanks for the clarification. I do see how they snap down on the different settings in front (which almost all of my others have as well). I guess I was just expecting something really tiny, like the li'l joeys.

Did you get the little green baby? Isn't there a OS one, too?

A perk to the kawaii newborn sizes though is that though they are bulkier than a true newborn size they fit for MONTHS, not just weeks like some others.

We have some P&N diapers and they didn't fit that well on DD2 till she was about 4 weeks old. She was 6lbs 8oz when she was born.
