Is anyone using Ace? What do you think? Anyone done 1st grade with Ace?

I know a lot of church schools that use it and are very pleased with it.  My sister went through it, but she didn't start til the 5th grade, so I don't have any experience with grade 1.

I graduated from an ACE school and it was great to use for all of the grades. The elementary portion LOVED it. I plan on using it for DS when he's old enough unless something else peaks my interest.

I graduated from an ACE school, but I hated the curriculum. I found it much too easy and not challenging at all. I can maybe see using the elementary portion, but after that it gets cheesy and turns most children off (at least in my experience).
