Blanket in crib?

Who here is putting a blanket in LOs crib already? I never have but tonight he was cuddling his new blanket so sweetly I couldn't bear to remove it. It's a very loose knit with holes all over as the pattern. So I feel safe but still ... What are you all doing? Should I sneak in and remove it? He's 10.5 months.

Also guilty of blanket use. I can't sleep without the house being pretty cold so I've used a blanket over her since the start of winter, so she was about 5 months old. She's always hated being swaddled or put in a sleep sack but loves her blankies. M

She's had a blanket since she could pull it off her face.  Mostly, she kicks it to the corner of the crib.  And the usual one is relatively thick, tbh.  Go with your own comfort level.  When she was rolling and pulling it off, I stoppe

we have been using a blanket since she was 7.5/8 months old. she moves around so much in the crib and shes sucha strong baby im not worried about it at all. shs so cute she snuggles it up to her face to fall asleep. she mostly ends up laying on top of it.

He has been sleeping with a blanket for a long time. I don't worry about, since he can pull the blanket off of his face if he wants.

Lucas has since December our house is cold. Plus he crawled at 5.5 months and pulled up by 6 months so I knew he could move away from it. Now he sleeps with one to cuddle and one over him.
