New and a question

I have Crohn's disease and I have a lot going on in my nether region.  So I brought it up yesterday at my appointment, that I was getting VERY anxious about a vaginal birth.  My Dr completely understood and said that if I thought it was the right thing to do to have a schedule C-section then she would schedule it.  My question is anyone have to deal with Crohn's and a c-section?  My Dr. feels I could deliver vaginally but also understands that if I go neurotic in delivery it will slow everything down .... I still have 11 weeks til I am due.

    I don't know anything about chrons disease but I would ever opt for a c section over a vaginal birth if my body was capable

    I have crohn's and had two sections and had no problems :) PM if you have any questions.  Talk to your gastro about your worries and they should help you with a decision.

    to the above poster sometimes the added stress on your body from a vag

    I have already had a resection. I already have diaherra . Tearing and pooping I already have problems. I came back from a vertical surgery in six weeks. It just seems for me like a better option. Heck I don't know. The idea of healing after tearing

    Just wanted to say by no means did I mean any offense since I really have no idea what complications chrons can entail when it comes to daily living nevermind labor.

    However with that said, I had a vaginal birth and it really isn't as bad as

    I agree with the PP that you should ask this question of the specialist that sees you for your condition. I don't know what it would take to aggravate your system but during this last csection my intestines were on the table to allow my doctor the access

    Do whatever feels right for you.  If you already had a vertical surgery, wouldn't the doctor suggest a c section anyways?  I thought that if you had previous stomach area surgery most did... but I would do whatever you feel you're comfortable wi
