Diapers for boys

Hi All,

I'm still having issues with diapers leaking and poop explosions during the day and at night. My boy is 18 pounds and very active. I've been using pampers baby dry during the day and huggies overnight. I'm thinking of trying pampers cruisers and pampers overnights next. What do you ladies use and recommend?

Size up. And try cruisers or swaddlers. They are "premium" diapers and tend to hold in the leaks better.

We use the Target brand in a size three (our LO is almost 18 lbs), the LUVs in a size 3, and we use the papmers overnight. We have not had any issues with either of these diapers. We've used the huggies and he always leaked out of them, so I do not recomm

We use Huggies Little Movers during the day and Huggies Overnights. Our DS is 23 lbs, crazy active, and rarely leaks.

They have just started making swaddlers in sizes 4 and 5.  They are available at Target and probably other stores too.They definitely work best.

I really like the pampers swaddlers a lot better than baby dry.  We had too many leaks with huggies.

Just an FYI. The cruisers don't have an elastic back which I would assume would cause more explosions up the back.

Thanks everyone, not feeling any more sure about which diapers to use though. I'm done with the Huggies overnights. He leaks almost every night. He is already in size 3's. Size 4's would be way too big since he is only 19lbs but I may try the 4's in baby
