New RE confirmed my research on AMH

So I posted awhile back about researching AMH and how the test is very temperature sensitive.  I was actually trying to find a lab in Houston (where I live) or, at least, in Texas to do the test because I was concerned about this, but all of them sent the sample off to CA for testing.  At any rate, my RE said on his own (without me even asking) that AMH can break down (so you get a lower reading) if it isn't frozen and stored correctly.  He said this is of particular in our part of the country (Texas) during the summer months. 

Unfortunately, he said that he didn't think that was probably the case for me because I have two low readings and even if the "undetectable" was a little low, given the time period that almost 2 years had passed since my 0.5 reading, my AMH "at best" was probably 0.2 or 0.3.  He did offer to re-test it (I declined), but said he highly doubted it would come back at something good like 1.5.

Glad you got some info. We put ours on ice immediately since it is a frozen sample for our lab. I would think everyone would do that.

That's so interesting!  Not surprising, really, but something to keep in mind, for sure!
