Baby K'tan and/or Moby?

I have found so much useful information here (I never knew of anything but an Ergo!), and I'm hoping you ladies can help me with a question

I was planning on getting a Moby wrap for the infant stage, then getting a Boba 3g. I've recently looked into the baby k'tan, and think I like that better than the moby. Here's my question: can I easily use the k'tan from infant age, or do I still need the moby? Would you recommend one over the other? Or would you forgo the wrap style and go straight for the Boba 3g even with an infant?

Someone mentioned in another wrap post about them wanting a light one with summer coming.  FWIW my ring sling is a black mesh one from Taylor Made, not sure what they cost now, but I originally bought it 6 yrs ago for like $40 to use in my mom's pool

I couldn't get DS situated right in the k'tan when he was really little. Don't know if it was a fit issue or I just wasn't smart enough to figure it out, but I couldn't put him in it (to where I felt he was secure and safe) until he was 4 or 5 months

I'm nervous about slings.. I feel like I'll do it wrong or somehow mess it up. Is this what most would recommend for an infant? I'm willing to give it a shot if it's better than the wraps. Any specific brand rec?
