what do you do to take your baby out in the cold weather? I have heard you're not supposed to put them in bulky coats when you put them in their car seat so how do you keep them warm?
Maria
After 27 months, 5 IUI's, 3 m/c's, 2 IVF's, 2 FET's (and a partridge in a pear tree) we finally had our baby boy. Our first son was born on Jan. 1, 2009.
Did another round of IVF and our girl/boy twins were born May 12, 2011
We got the J.J. Cole Bundle Me from Babies 'R Us. Haven't had to use it yet, but my sister lives in Buffalo, NY and swore by hers last winter with her newborn.
We have a Bundle Me but she gets so darn hot in it. I had to take the top off of it. I suppose it will be great when it gets really really cold though.
When we went to our carseat inspection they told us the bundle me's were bad because they go underneath the child and interfere with how the straps on the carseat work. We got a cozy cover from Target. It's cheaper and doesn't go under the carseat straps. And it was cheaper than the bundle me.
Re: taking baby out in cold weather
I was told to get one of those covers for the carseat...

We're already using it and it works great! Our doctor commented on how nice it was and the lady at the carseat inspection also approved it.
