Got Mirena today

I was all worried that it would be painful, but it wasn't even a tad uncomfortable. The Dr. said it is because I had a baby recently so my cervix wasn't completely closed. She said it never fully closes back to what it was before kids and I've had 2 now. So, if anyone else was worried or scared by things they saw online, my experience was fine with insertion. Hopefully, things will continue to be fine.

    I had the exact same experience. Thank goodness! Glad it went okay for you! I haven't had any problems & I got mine at my 6 week PP checkup.

    Lucky!!! I got Paraguard and because my cervix was curved, they had to use some other medieval device to get that thing in there and used like 6-7 silver nitrate things to stop the bleeding. I did not have a fun time at all lol
