When to start...

So after a little reading, I know there are things I can do to help proper positioning of baby... but when do you start that?  I'm only 20 weeks now, so I know the little guy can do somersaults for a while.  Do you start doing spinning babies around 30-32 weeks?  I know the baby can still flip after 36 weeks sometimes, but when would you start trying to get things in line?

Thanks!

Re: When to start...

  • When I looked at the Spinning Babies materials, it seemed like the exercises could be started from day 1. Considering that some of them are not easy, I'd probably start sooner rather than later so I can build up the strength to do them when I'm bigger &am

  • No idea the answer to your question.  I plan on starting after my next appointment (34wk) if baby is still breech.  I have no idea how I am going to get my large butt upside down on an ironing board.

  • You guys are right... I guess I didn't really see a point this early, but figuring it out and getting in the habit are probably good reasons.  :)

  • I honestly think a lot of that stuff doesn't work and it's not worth your time to stress about, especially when it's early enough that your baby can still switch positions all the time.

  • Since my OB has never cared until 36w if LO is breech, I wouldn't do anything special until then.

  • With my last pregnancy baby A and B flipped to the night before they were born... and it hurt so badly it knocked me off my feet. So I would start early so you get familiar with what to do and the babies position.
