Reagan too close to Megan?

My name is Megan - but outside of the office, I primarily go by Meg.  MH LOVES the name Reagan, as do I, for a girl, but is it too similar to my name?  Or no big deal?

Like RAY- gan or like REE-gan?  If it's the latter I think it's fine.

Probably too close if it was a sibset, but because it is your name and you go by Meg, I say it sounds fine!

I love the name Reagan.....especially because that's what I'm naming my daughter. I've seen mothers do the "jr" thing with their daughter so just because it sounds similar shouldn't make you choose something else. Go with it.

To close for me, I nixed every name that rhymed with my own, DH and I liked Keira but felt it was to close to Cara.

I like the name too. I think if you go by Meg it works. I wouldn't do it for siblings though.

My H suggested this name when we were pregnant with DD and my name is Megan.  There was no way I could take him seriously with rhyming names.

It's too close for sisters, but it's not too close for cousins or for mother/daughter.
