Anna Jacques Hospital?

Hi everyone,

I live in southern NH, towards the seacoast, but work in Andover.  I'm looking into Anna Jacques hospital in Newburyport.  I went to Women's Health in Exeter for my last pregnancy that ended in a misscarriage.  They were lovely there, but I'd like to find a place that is more in between work and home.  I'm not interested in using Lawrence General.  I'm only 4 weeks, so I have a couple of weeks before I need to make my first appt.  Anyone out there have any experience with AJ?

Hey, I dont have any maternity experience with AJ, but my MIL worked there for 20 years.  It's a well respected hospital, and as you mentioned, the best in the region.  I would definitely suggest going on a tour, and maybe posting this on the Bo

Thanks for your input!  They have an open house scheduled for this Wednesday night, so I'm planning on going then.

Personally I think Lawrence General is a better hospital than Anna Jacques.  Why aren't you considering that one?
