Daycare daily logs

Is there any reason to keep the daily log sheets that daycare sends home for ds? It's helpful to know when he last ate and how he slept that day. But beyond that is there any reason to keep it?
I've kept them in a binder and just realized I have a full year of them. I think it is time to toss them.

  • I don't. I keep them for a week or so just to see if he's trending anything, then recycle them.

  • We saved them for a few weeks and then I was like, UM WHY?!  The biggest thing I want to know is how she napped that day.  Other than that, no important info other than supplies needed or an occasional note about something.  After I read

  • I'm in the minority here apparently.  I keep a little notebook (well, 3 now total) that lists each of his feedings (nursing/bottle/solilds), his nap times and his overnight sleeping, as well as significant "firsts" or trips to the Pedi, etc. I s

  • When DD was in the infant room, her logs were in a notebook (that they provided), so I obviously had them all saved at the time (but I don't have the notebooks anymore).  Now, in the toddler room, it's just a half-sheet of paper, I toss it every nigh

  • I kept the sheets from her first week and special days, like her birthday and a few where she did some cool things. Otherwise I usually throw them out each day.

  • I throw them out daily.  I feel like it's giant waste of paper in the toddler room.  I like it in the infant room though.  Older LO always eats ALL his food, he generally sleeps two hours, he sheet ALWAYS says he's happy.  I mean if so
