If you have one-size diapers, what signs let you know it is time to resize your diapers?

LO is wearing OS on the newborn setting.  She gives a little cry when I button the second side of the diaper, but I fear that any looser will result in a mess.

If I find that I can't get a good fit in the waist without pulling the snaps really tight on the legs, I loosen the legs a little.  Also, if their butt isn't covered all the way, you'll want to extend the legs.

With snap rises if I feel it's not "right" I resnap and try it. With fuzzibunz elite, it's a lot more work, so I adjust 2 diapers. One ill let the legs out a button, the other I let the waist out one button on one side only. If either fits I adjust the ot
