Where is LO when you shower?

Since tax season is wrapping up in 1 1/2 short weeks , I was thinking about all the time I'll be getting with DS now!  This past fall, when I showered on weekends that DH was working, I would put DS in his exersaucer, but he was starting to get too big for it.  So I was curious what you ladies do with LOs when you shower now?!  I guess I could try shower before he wakes up, but I'd like to sleep in once in a while too!

I shower at night right after DS goes to sleep.  I can't wear my hair curly since I sleep on it so I usually just pull it back straight.  Someday I'll be able to shower in the mornings : )

I usually shower in the morning while LO is asleep. But on the few ocassions that he's been awake and DH is not home, I take a speed shower for 5-10 minutes max, and just leave LO playing in the living room. We have a ranch style house and I close all the doors and but a gate up on the kitchen door. I will say the 5 minutes shower doesn't allow for shaving or conditioner, but I am uneasy taking any longer

I shower when DS goes down for the night it or during naptime in the afternoon..

We have had the pack and play in the master bath for a long time now and DD plays in there while  I shower.

I shower while the kids are in bed. I also go to the gym while they're in bed so I can't wait until morning. But I've also put LO in his room with the baby gate up at his door. That's good for about 20 minutes before he's bored.

I shower when DD naps.

He's in the shower with me. I've showered with him since he was a few weeks old. We only do baths after he paints or eats something extra messy.

They have access to their playroom, hallway and family room when I shower.

Maybe I'm not thinking about it right, but how does this work?  Esp when he was little (pre standing)?  Did you put him in a baby tub in the shower?  Is this a stand alone shower or a tub shower?  Our stand alone shower is kind of small and even now that DD is walking, I can't imagine her at my feet!  BUT....it does sound like it would be convenient!  Maybe I could do it in the shower tub...

For now, I only shower when DD is sleeping (morning pre-wake up, during naps, or after she's down for the night) unless DH is around.  If I had to do it when she was awake, I'd probably try to get the PnP into the bathroom or put her in her crib and have the monitor on.

I shower at night when he is down for the night. On weekends dad plays with him while I shower. Or they both stand in the bathroom talking to me :

I shower when I put her down for a nap. It isn't ideal because I would rather shower in the morning, but oh well.

If I don't shower at night I shower while she is eating breakfast in her highchair right at the door. Or she is playing in her playroom but can walk into the bathroom if needed. Or she showers with me which she hates!

I shower with her which sucks. I pretty much have to hold her the whole time or she throws a fit, and putting conditioner in is impossible. She also gets really slippery.

I would love to have a better solution but she gets in too much trouble if I leave her playing for more than a couple of minutes at a time.

I have to shower when DD is in bed.  I used to be able to leave her in the bouncer, but she doesn't like being in there very long  She also doesn't like not being able to see me so showering when she's awake just doesn't work.  Some nights I shower while DH watches her.

I shower while he naps or I close him in the bathroom with me. I block the door to the shower with the laundry hamper and all of the cabinets have locks on them, so I just grab a few of his toys and he's usually happy to play on the floor with them. Our bathroom has a separate toilet room, so luckily it's easy to keep him out of it by keeping that door closed.

I normally shower at night when LO is asleep, when LO naps, or when DH watches him. If none of those options are available, I stick him in his crib with some toys for a few minutes. NBD

I shower at night after she is asleep. I've always preferred showering at night before bed since I don't like to blow dry my hair so it's NBD.

we have a playroom that's babyproofed and gated on both entrances, so i stick him in there. he fusses a bit when i leave but is usually quiet and playing by the time i start getting dressed. occasionally i'll shower while he's napping but i usually prefer to shower before we go out for the day.

I always shower at night at DS goes to sleep. If I do shower in the morning, and DH is not home, I put him in the play pen. He hates it, but I don't have much of a choice. That is why I love to shower at night.

Gigi has two movies that she absolutely loves.  We have our living room completely baby-proofed.  If my husband isn't home to watch her when I shower, I am able to leave the bathroom door open and turn on one of her two favorite movies.  She just watches the movie while I shower.  Every once in a while, she'll come in to say hi or I'll go ask her how she likes the movie.  She's really easy that way... at least, now she is.

I usually get one while she is sleeping in the morning. On occasion, I put her in her packnplay some too while she was watching tv. When my DH watches her, he puts her in her room while he showers right next to her room. She has a gate up at the door and the door can still stay open.

I try to get one in before lo wakes up for the day.  It usually means sleeping in is no longer an option, but on those days when he sleeps in a little I get a lot of things done around the house before he is up!
