Maybe yours are from the other bakery? These are from the Little Brownie bakery - I think I have a box from the other one at home, I should check those out. That is VERY interesting to me. That, and luckily, I live in a place where we get troops from both, so I'll just have to remember that if and when I have another LO.
If that is the case, then the ones I have that DO have milk are the circular ones, not the scalloped edged ones, so thats an easy way to tell them apart. Meanwhile, I still recommend Oreo's. ;-)
I checked the other box when I got home and they don't list dairy, so there ya go! The cookies from ABC Bakers are in fact dairy free (scalloped edges), while the Little Brownie are not (round).
Meanwhile, does anyone have a list of approved foods / brands / etc for MSPI? Since we are TTC again, I figure I should start preparing and hopefully by getting ready BEFORE hand, I won't go through the whole "what can I actually eat" phase. TIA!
Re: Thin mints are dairy free!
My box says "contains wheat, milk, and soy". Mabye it depends on the bakery???
However - OREO's are dairy and ALMOST soy free - has soy lechithin, but my daughter never reacted unless I ate half the container.
Thats strange! I even called the number to confirm. Must vary.
