So we are back to flip flopping on names and even though I thought we had it, We started second guessing and now the current top of our list is Celeste. Her middle name will be Pearl and I know it doesn't have a nice flow but both H and I are considering it. We want a name that pops out to us like DD1's did but so far no luck.

Opinions? Thoughts?

My mn is Celeste. I didn't care for it growing up...but I like it more now.

I don't care for it. I like both names but not together. Have you thought of using Pearl as the first name? We had Pearl Cecelia and Cecelia Pearl on our list.

I think it's a lovely pairing, and I'll bet it flows just fine with your last name at the end.

And, Pearl is my DD's middle -- so although I am obviously biased, I love that name as well.

IMO Celeste kind of reminds me of Molest. I'm not sure if that is just me...but if it is not, there might be a nickname or a joke in there that will come out in middle school...

I like Celeste!  If you are set on Pearl for the mn, just go for it.  How often do you actually say the child's first and middle names together anyway?

They are both okay just NMS.  However, I do not like the sound/flow of them together.

The names are NMS, but nice. While it doesn't have the best flow, if Pearl is important for you to use I would go with it.

Celeste is a great name, and outside of graduations and weddings, most people are not called by their whole name.

If flow was the only consideration, you could change the order, Pearl Celeste and call her Celeste.

I like Celeste a lot and think Celeste Pearl flows just fine.

I love both names, and I think Celeste Pearl sounds just fine.  Big thumbs up from me.

I just don't like Celeste. I don't like the phrase "trying to hard" but this name fits in my opinion. I do really like Pearl and I will say that the flow of Celeste Pearl sounds okay. I wouldn't worry about the flow of the name if the names are important
