eating like crazy!

My LO just turned 6 months, and is EBF. Just today he has been eating like crazy, almost every hour and a half for at least 15 minutes, I've been trying to distract him with games or toys but he gets genuinely upset until I feed him and then he eats like he'll never eat again. We had our first trial of solids last night, pureed green beans, but he didn't really eat more than a spoonful or two, he was definitely not a fan. I don't know if maybe he just needs more food suddenly or what, anyone else experience this? Should I be trying to feed him solids more than once a day yet? Please Help!

I think there is a 6 month growth spurt. If he just learned a new skill, like rolling or scooting or something, he could be expending more energy and wanting to eat more.  And then you know, babies are different day to day so maybe he's just hungr

Yes, that's what we're in too and I even feed him 2 solid meals a day! I would maybe try either orange vegetables first (my LO loves carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash) or cereal like other people have said. He may take to that better. I would only feed
