Hey ladies,

 

So I have this small keepsake chest that I had been using as a toy chest for the past 6 months. This morning I noticed a small sticker on the inside of it that said "Some of the materials and processes used to make this product may contain formaldehyde and carcinogenics"... WTF!! So I got rid of the chest (which we had gotten from DHs grandparents as a wedding gift) and now my question is do you think the toys that were in the chest are ok or should I get rid of them too?

While I dont know the answer to your question, I do know that there are chemicals in furniture and many items unless you shop for chemical free ones. Actually, formaldehyde is in a lot
of baby wipes as well. You could drive yourself nuts or just do
