Yogurt?

What type of yogurt are you feeding your LO? DD is almost 15 months and loves it, but the "baby" brands are expensive! Does anyone give their LO any sort of regular yogurt?

  • We get a large container of Stoneyfield organic whole milk yogurt weekly. We use it for regular eating and for smoothies. It's pretty cheap and he loves it!

  • We give regular yogurt, they also tend to have less sugar. We do Greek yogurt, or chobani and Greek gods, or wallaby for the most part.

  • Greek yogurt...I think it is the Danon Oikos brand that we usually buy. I just make sure it is the whole fat version...not the low fat.

    She LOVES it.

  • Now we buy either Chobani Champions or TJs kid's yogurt. I used to buy a big tub of plain, full fat yogurt and mix it with fruit, applesauce, honey, or cinnamon, but he started rejecting it around 20 months. I like the TJs stuff and Chobani because it

  • We bought the big tubs of Chobani until he started picking out the fruit. Then we switched to the tubs of Stonyfield Whole Milk. The vanilla, not the plain, so we don't flavor or sweeten it.

  • We do Greek yogurt as it's higher in protien.  I buy Ooikos (sp?).  It's the Dannon brand.  My 3yr old loves the yogurt tubes they make too.  They are a 'treat' for her ;-)

Just want to add that we do a large tub of organic whole milk yogurt (either Stonyfield or Nancy's) and add our own fruit to it.  Cheaper, and so much better for a toddler IMO.  To make it easier, I will cook down apples in the crockpot and free

  • Stonyfield makes baby and toddler yogurt that is organic and full fat.  There are lots of different flavors, like blueberry, banana and strawberry, and DD really loves them.  They come in small cups enough for 1 serving.
