weaning

Mostly because DS is sooo attached to nursing still, and I need to get my wisdom teeth that all popped through while I was pregnant removed. I would like to start weaning in the next month, but I have no clue where to start. I'm a SAHM, and DS nurses a lot. He nurses when he's upset, hungry, tired, etc. Sometimes he just wants to lay there and not actually be drinking. I nurse him to sleep for his nap and bedtime and back to sleep if he wakes up in the MOTN. I've set up some bad habits, I know. Anyone in or was in a similar situation that wants to share their plan to wean or how they weaned?
