I have a very embarrassing topic, but I'm pretty desperate for advice. I gave birth last May and had a very long, difficult delivery (I pushed for three hours). He was finally born and I tore, which resulted in stitches. Overall, I've been okay with my body after giving birth; however, I still don't look the same "down there." Everyone told me that everything would go back to normal after having a baby, but I haven't completely experienced that. My husband and I are able to have intercourse without problems and I have been examined by my ob/gyn twice. Both times she said I am fine. I'm just looser and (yes, I'm embarrassed to say I looked, but I did) and have more "bumps" or something. I also have a harder time controlling gas, etc. Sometimes I wish that I had just had a c-section so I wouldn't be so different. In a sense I am proud of myself for giving birth to a new human and for losing all of my baby weight (44 lbs.). It's just different, though. Does anyone have any advice? Have you dealt with this before? I feel really alone, because this obviously isn't something that people talk about much. Thank you in advance for any responses.
Re: Post-Pregnancy Body
hugs* you are not alone! No it doesn't go back to the same as before baby or at least I never did and I never tore and had a midwife who did everything to keep me from tearing. Kegals help the muscles inside get tighter again which helps you feel more
I hate to admit this because I am so proud of my natural birth but I am in the same boat. I'm slowly getting over it. I would consider doing something about it but we'll see how I feel after a second. I have no advice really because I
Super embarrassing but if I can't confide to my other May Mommas after all we've been through together then who can I? I am suffering from a prolapsed bladder due to my delivery. I had a super easy delivery too, I pushed for less than 10 minutes and I
I had a c-section and haven't had any issues, but another of my mama friends told me this DVD was helpful for her:

You are so not alone!
I got a 4th degree tear with my May baby and have had problems with my vag ever since! My doc said eventually (when I'm done having children) I will need to have plastic surgery to repair it. Not only do I
