possibly opened a can of worms with BM

Per our custody agreement. BM has to let DH know if/when she will take her 14 days summer vacation during our time with SS but April 1. She did not do this, so today our attorney sent her attorney a letter stating when we would be meeting her down to the time and location for pickup and drop off of SS and that for this summer BM would not be exercising her summer vacation with SS. We will not  be budging on this. BM showed up January 1 demanding SS so he could play with her sister's kids and took him 2 days early (she drove 3 hours to DH's mothers house where we were spending Christmas). We had given into BM last year and let her take an extra week in trade for this spring break, but she refused to let us take SS when we got there (15 hour drive with a 9 month old for nothing). she wouldnt even let us see SS. More than likely she will get the papers tomorrow on SS birthday, so knowing her we will not get to talk to ss on his birthday (we have talked to him 3 times since Jan 1. I just wish she would attempt to do what is best for SS and not herself.

Our CO states we have to provide BM with the summer schedule by May 1st. If we don't then she gets to make the schedule. It is in the child's best interest to have a relationship with both parents. I agree with previous post that you should pick the time
