poop

Ds is totally pee potty trained woohoo ! But...poop. he knows it's supposed to go in the toilet. Just doesn't want to. He'll hold it if we make him sit. He hides behind the recliner or in the closet when he poops so it's pretty obvious. Ive tried putting him on the toilet but even if he's totally ready he won't no matter how long he sits there. How do I get him to be ok to poop on the potty...

Re: poop

  • Bribery. It worked for us. We were at our wits' end and gave in to bribery. Cherry suckers to be exact. She now expects a cherry sucker every time she "poo poos on the potty." At this point...whatever works!

  • You are going to think its nuts but get him to sprinkle glitter into the potty and say "now its safe for the poop to go in the potty". Our pedi suggested this and it worked like a charm. Now he never has accidents!
