How does your DCP handle 1 year olds? The new DCP I'm looking at has a separate 1 yo class and they only take 1 nap on mats. I am not sure how I feel about this.
It would make my life much easier if I could get my second down to 1 nap a day, but right now he is content taking 2 naps, usually 3.5 - 4 hours total. I understand 1 nap for 16-18 month range, but for some reason 12 months just seems early to me. I know other centers sometimes have infant/young toddlers and then an older toddler room, but I'm not sure how naps are generally handled.

Once they are one they go to the toddler 1s room. One nap a day from noon until 3 at the latest.

All of the DC centers around here start the 1 nap a day on mats at 1yr. Honestly I was relieved when my son moved up to toddlers. In the infant room there was too much excitement, he would nap like 30mins a day. Then he was exhausted
