Hi all! New to this board. I have a 5 month old beautiful son. I EBF and we have been having difficulties ranging from gas to reflux. We've gone down many paths from meds like Zantac and Prevacid, to dairy free, and the chiropractor. The reflux has seemed to even out, he still spits up a ton but doesn't bother him like it used too and he is 98 percentile in height and weight. We've been without medicine for 2 weeks.
But with all of this the gas is still present and has gotten worse with eliminating dairy. We went to the pedi yesterday and she said its something I am eating that is causing the gas. So she suggested eliminating all tomato based sauces etc.
His gas is always the worst at night between 8 and 10 to the point he won't stop kicking his legs in the air and straining.
Anyone think this sound familiar or had success with eliminating tomatoes?
BTW there are no food allergies in our family.
TIA I am getting desperate!
